Hello again, it is Clara, Katie, and Eliza. Today, a tour guide took us to two beautiful locations in northern Israel. We first went to Rosh Hanikra, which is where the Mediterranean Sea meets the rocks and it is also the border between Lebanon and Israel. There were stunning views, the water was crystal clear, and it was fun to walk through the grottos.

After, we ventured to Akko, where we visited an ancient city’s ruins and walked around the famous markets. We had a delicious lunch with homemade humus, a variety of other dips, pita, falafel, french fries and fresh vegetables. We went through the markets and tasted different Israeli pastries.

After our morning of touring, we returned to the Village and spent the day with our kids. Clara played basketball with her children and helped the two younger girls roller blade around the court. One of her girls, Donna, fishtailed her hair. Katie was taught a hand-clap game and learned how to count to five in Hebrew. She also played soccer, air hockey, foosball, and pool. Eliza went to the mall with two of her girls and then played in Karmiel’s fantastic park. Jessie went to the zoo with her kids for fifth time and Trinity cooked dinner for her family. Amanda enjoyed another day of fun with her mishpachton.
